It all started at a brewfest in Boston, MA. Thanks to their good friends for inviting them & the Coast Guard for stationing Michael in Connecticut. They had the best time, Sarah remembers thinking "I hope someday I get to be with someone like Michael." She also "dabbed" on him, which sealed the deal for Michael and he knew he would never lay eyes on another girl again.
Fast forward a month, as fate had it, Sarah and Michael run into each other while out with friends. He asked if he could have her number because he was moving to a new apartment and knew she grew up in CT, hoping she would help him find a good town to live in. Sarah, thinking nothing of it, offered her number. They texted back and forth a few times and eventually she gave in to his persistence and let him take her out on a date.
They had their first date at S&P Oyster in Mystic, CT. And Sarah and Michael have (quite literally) been inseparable ever since. Very quickly they knew they wanted to spend forever with each other and got engaged on 12/29/2017 - one of the best days of Sarah and Michael's life together.
For those that know them both, knew it would be a long engagement and what started out as a joke of getting married in 2027, had been the slogan of their engagement amongst their best friends for the last 6 years. Although they have decided to get married a few years shy of 2027, this year will be their best year yet as they start their next chapter of their lives as a married couple. (But they will still find a way to celebrate in the year 2027!)
They can't wait to be surrounded by their closest family and friends as they start their journey as The Passow's (pronounced PASS-OH, like El Paso). So bring your best dresses/suits and of course your dancing shoes because Sarah and Michael can't wait for you all to be there to celebrate with them as husband and wife!
