Sarah and Tyler met in September 2020 soon after matching with one another on the dating app Hinge during the pandemic.

Their first date was to Goddard Memorial State Park, where the two sat by the beach for hours and got to know one another.

The rest is history.

Tyler and Sarah moved in together in January 2022.

The two live in a first-floor apartment with their beloved guinea pigs, Gelato and Marshmallow.

Tyler proposed to Sarah on December 11, 2022 at the Boston Public Garden.


It all started 12 days prior when Tyler left Sarah a note on the kitchen table. That note set in motion a string of additional notes looking back on their first two years as a couple.


The countdown ended in Boston, when Tyler, with the help of friends and family, surprised Sarah with the final note, which was carefully placed underneath a tree near the water.
