We first met in Nashville, Tennessee, the home of our Alma Mater, Lipscomb University.

This photo was taken at a going-away party hosted for Sare (before she fell in love and decided to stay a bit longer!).

One of our favorite dates as a couple: a good friend taking some beautiful photos of us in the city that we love.

When Sare accepted a position with AmeriCorps in Seattle, we continued our relationship long-distance, visiting each other back and forth as frequently as possible.

Though he wasn't with us for long, we will always be grateful to Walter for the joy and laughter he brought into our lives.

We'll never be able to replace Walter - but he sure did make us fall in love with Frenchies! Pippa, our first foster Frenchie, came to us on March 11th - and continues to keep us on our toes every day. We officially adopted her on May 2nd!
