Most of us who grew up in the digital age were told not to talk to strangers on the internet, but that's how this love story began.A few years ago, Christopher and Sarah stumbled upon one another in a Facebook group and became friends. Christopher mentioned that he had plans to visit Portland (about 45 minutes from her town) and thought it would be nice to meet in person. She took the day off of work and met him for lunch at The RAM in Salem, OR. They ended up enjoying one another's company so much, they decided to hang out for the rest of the day, talking, listening to music, and drinking coffee. After Christopher went back to California, the two began to talk all of the time and it became very clear that this friendship was developing into something special that neither had expected.At the end of May, Sarah got on a plane bound for Oakland, CA. to see him. It was on this trip that the two officially became a couple.The months that followed were packed full of trips back and forth to see one another, meeting respective family members and friends, sight-seeing, and falling deeply in love.On New Year's Day, 2016, they decided that the distance was too much, and Sarah (along with her chubby cat, Vincent), would move to California. At the end of March she packed up her car and headed to the East Bay with the help of her best friend, Maeghan. The next year was nothing short of adventurous: wild concerts, trekking to the top of a mountain, and traveling to both Iceland and Ireland.And on May 20th, 2017, while hiking Big Basin, underneath the shade of the Redwoods, Christopher asked Sarah to be his wife.Christopher and Sarah are thrilled to announce that they will be getting married on May 19th, 2018 in Sacramento, CA. They hope that you will honor them with your presence as they embark on a new part of their journey together.

Great selection of beer and cider on tap and bottles. Good shepherds pie and fish and chips. TVs for sports but you can still have a conversation. Sunday 830pm quiz night is my favorite time to go."
