Sarah and Joey

Sarah and Joseph met briefly in the fall of 2017 through friends. Although nothing happened between the two that evening, it set forward an opportunity for the two to become friends.

Their real love story began on July 12, 2018, when Sarah sent him an Instagram message complimenting his work ethic and realizing how cool his job is. Twelve days later they were exchanging “I love you’s”—- I know. I know. It sounds crazy, but like they say— When you know, you know—- Right?

They went on their first weekend getaway to Santa Cruz, California on August 5, 2018, and attended their first of many concerts on August 31, 2018, at Ironstone Amphitheater. As they delved deeper into each other’s worlds, they discovered a shared passion for their families, adventure, and travel. They have traveled all over California, Utah, Texas, New York, Florida, Cabo, San Miguel De Allende, Sydney, London, Amsterdam, Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, St. Thomas, St. Croix, and one of their very favorites, Puerto Rico.

Over the past six years, they have shared laughter, tears, triumphs, and challenges. They have witnessed the cycle of life, with births and deaths. They have celebrated the upgrade of houses and careers. Their relationship even survived a worldwide lockdown. During this time, they managed to rescue their four fur babies, re-home three others, and continue to care for all the other cats who chose to remain in their backyard. Through the highs and lows of life’s unpredictable journey, they remain each other's rock, supporting and uplifting one another with unwavering loyalty-- Knowing that as long as they have each other, they can conquer anything that comes their way.

On January 5, 2024, on a beautiful beach in Isabela, Puerto Rico, Joseph got on one knee and asked Sarah to marry him. She instantly began crying as she was flooded with emotions. She did not know that he had bought a ring and was beyond grateful, for she gets to share her life with someone who loves her so much in return.

They are both looking forward to continuing to make wonderful memories together and with YOU at their beautiful wedding on April 4, 2025, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
