Jason and Sarah’s story began on April 4, 2019, at Pierce Bar, a popular spot near their college. Jason, with a mix of curiosity and a dash of courage, approached Sarah and asked, “What’s up?” Sarah, with a quick smile, replied, “What does it look like? I’m at a bar.”

That small exchange was all it took to spark something between them. They spent the rest of the night talking, laughing, and getting to know each other. By the end of the night, Jason had asked for Sarah’s number, and from there, everything just clicked. They started texting and hanging out more, slowly introducing each other to their circle of friends, and soon became inseparable.

A few months later, on September 19, 2019, Jason made it official and asked Sarah to be his girlfriend at a Rascal Flatts concert. It was the perfect backdrop for the start of a beautiful relationship.

Fast forward to September 1, 2025, on the shores of Higgins Lake, Michigan, Jason took the next big step. With the lake as their witness, he asked Sarah to marry him—and of course, she said yes.
