Our Wedding

Sarah and Kyle met in 2015 at Sandra Day O'Connor High School. Almost instantly we hit it off and became friends. After we talked and texted for a couple months, we both decided we wanted to start dating.

On December 8th, 2015, Kyle decided to formally ask Sarah out, but he got nervous. Kyle knew Sarah didn’t speak a word of Spanish—yet he proceeded to ask her out in Spanish after school one day. She stared back completely confused, and he quickly tried again in English: “Will you go out with me Sarah?” Thankfully, she agreed. From that moment on, we’ve been inseparable. Always the dynamic duo through the rest of high school, 4 years at Arizona State University, and now down in Tucson for Kyle's Medical School training and Sarah's Nursing School training. In the present day, 2025, we have built a life together and share our home with our two beautiful kitties. We can’t wait for the next chapter and are so excited to celebrate with you all!

Ginger, my younger sister and maid of honor, has always been a part of my heart. Our bond has never wavered, and we’ve always stayed connected through love, laughter, and shared memories. I’m overjoyed to have her by my side on this special day—it truly wouldn’t be the same without her. 💕

Bird and I have been friends since freshman year of high school. We played football together at Sandra Day O'Connor and have been great friends ever since. Steven played center, so we had to be coordinated. Steven is the man of mystery and many talents. Sleight of Hand is what comes to my mind.

Julie, my older sister, has been a constant source of love and support throughout my life. She’s been by my side through every season, offering comfort, laughter, and encouragement along the way. Having her  with me on this day means more than words can express, and I’m so thankful for the bond we share.

Sholtz, Bird, Frey, and Billy have all been my closest friends since high school football. Sholtz was our tackle and I relied on him to protect me (cough cough Corona del Sol game JV year :)) Sholtz represents a large teddy bear with something funny to say always. He also answers to "Jim Norton".

Andrew Sholtz

Jailene, aka J, has been my best friend for 11 years and truly feels like a sister to me. I treasure all the memories we’ve shared over the years and our deep bond that’s basically unbreakable—we’re so close that sometimes our conversations even sound like we’re in a relationship, which always cracks me up. I’m so excited to have her  by my side as a bridesmaid on this special day!💕

Jailene Carpio

Ria, my future brother-in-laws girlfriend and a wonderful friend, has been such a joy over the past couple of years. I’ve loved the support she’s given and how she’s always willing to lend a hand. I’m so grateful to have her standing by my side as a bridesmaid on this special day. 🤍

Ria Rich

Another member of the high school friend group, Frey is the certified PC gamer. Frey played on the offensive and defensive line, either protecting or targeting me, so we became friends quickly. He strikes a balance between being cracked at any game and also raging harder than anyone I have ever known. Never a dull moment around this guy. 

Justin Frey

If I had to call one of my friends the comedian of the group, it would be Billy. Another member of the football squad, Billy is the guy that can get a laugh out of anyone at almost any time. Billy played on defense mostly, but our group connected very quickly. If Billy is around, you are guaranteed a fun time. 

Billy Johnson

Carson has been my friend for over 14 years and a true blessing in my life. Hanging out with him is always fun, and he’s the one who pushes me to try things I’m scared of—like not letting me come down from a rock wall until I reached the top, or convincing me to try raw sushi (which I swore I hated, but surprisingly didn’t mind). I’m so grateful to have him by my side as a bridesmaid on this special day.

Carson Jeffery

RJ and I became friends closer to the end of high school and grew closer during our time at Arizona State University. Ever since then we have been close friends. RJ and I love to talk about movies, books, and music. We are both die-hard Christopher Nolan fans (The Dark Knight, Inception, The Prestige, Oppenheimer). 

RJ Javangula

Being roommates with my younger brother brought us closer—even if his meal preps occasionally took over the entire house. Along the way, we gained inside jokes and moments I’ll always cherish. I’m so excited to have him by my side as a bridesmaid—proof that family, love, and a good sense of humor belong in every celebration.

Brogan Frahm

Isaiah is a great friend of mine that I had the pleasure of befriending during the start of my medical school training. Countless nights at TLC, the Hut, or Playground, countless mornings stressing over exams and studying last minute. Our righteous paladin in DND, he constantly has to steer the group towards the party to righteousness. It is always a blast with this guy.

Conrad is another fantastic friend of mine that I had the pleasure of meeting during medical school. Partaking in the infamous Thursday nights has always been a blast and I look forward to many more. Porch mode, of course. It's genius. Why didn't I think of that? DND has been a blast with you and I would be remiss if I did not mention your favorite companion Piddlewick II. 

Conrad Lindsey

Darrell is another of my amazing friends I met in medical school. If I had to describe Darrell in two phrases it would be "Talent" and "Wild Card". Darrell is a man of many skill sets and talents. 3D printing, motorcycling, PC building, Server building/troubleshooting, medicine, gambling. What can't this guy do? Darrell's "wild card" nature always leads to some of the most fun memories I have in medical school. This is especially evident in his character in DND.
