How do I RSVP?
You can RSVP on this wedding website using the "RSVP" tab at the top.
By what date should I RSVP?
We ask that you RSVP no later than Saturday, June 1. We understand that plans change, so feel free to reach out to us if your response changes after that time!
Will the reception take place indoors or outdoors?
The reception will be held indoors.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there will be parking available at the venue. Because the church on the premises will be holding Mass around the same time, we ask that you park near the school on the West side of the campus.
What is the dress code?
We're lowkey people -- dressy casual is preferred. Wear whatever makes you feel fancy, festive and comfortable!
What kind of weather should I expect?
June in Mississippi is notoriously hot. The reception area is indoors, but we recommend attire that is loose fitting and comfortable to wear in warmer weather.
Can I bring a plus one?
Sure! The more the merrier. Just let us know in your RSVP.
What about kids?
Them, too! We love kids and are excited for you to bring them along. We plan to have activities specifically for the little ones, but please feel free to bring other items that will help them enjoy the party (toys, games, etc.). We just ask that any electronics be kept on silent.
Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions?
We will have a limited amount of vegetarian options and gluten-free options. Please feel free to let us know any other dietary restrictions you may have, and we will do our best to ensure we have something to accommodate your needs.
Will there be an open bar?
Is the pope Catholic?
Do you have a registry?
We do - it can be found at the top of this page under the "Registry" tab.
Gifts are appreciated but by no means expected. Times are tough, and our focus is on sharing the joy of our union with everyone in a moment of togetherness at our reception. The greatest gifts we could ever receive are the love and support you all provide to us.
Will there be a ceremony? What time should I arrive?
We eloped on August 5, 2023 with a beautiful ceremony at Landa Park in our home city of New Braunfels.
In the spirit of honoring the significance and uniqueness of that moment, the moment we became husband and wife, we are choosing not to have a second ceremony. We are excited to welcome everyone to the reception on June 22 at 4 pm. The important bits will get started around 4:15.
Am I allowed to take photos?
We will have a professional photographer who is a dear friend of ours there taking pictures. You are welcome to take pictures and share them on social media. But, we invite you to unplug and enjoy the reception knowing that Shelby's got the pics well in hand!
