Ivan and Sarah met at their school, GMAA, when they were just teenagers; he was fourteen, and she was thirteen. They became friends during a summer sports camp and remained friends as the school year went on. Though they both had crushes on each other, the timing was never quite right.

Throughout high school, their story was the same: an unspoken connection and mutual feelings that never aligned. So, they remained friends, always with something more lingering in the background.

During Sarah's Senior year, when Ivan was in his first year of college, they grew very close and were almost inseparable. It seemed as if they might have a chance together. Unfortunately, it still wasn't their time. The following year, Sarah went off to college in Maryland, while Ivan remained in Miami. They drifted apart and went on to live their own lives.

Years passed. Then one day, fate intervened. Finally, when the timing was right, Ivan and Sarah found each other again. It was as if they picked up right where they had left off. That spark that was always there quickly turned into a fire and they rapidly fell in love.

On March 15, 2020, after a beautiful day spent with family, Ivan finally asked Sarah to be his girlfriend. At last! They spent several years together, growing as new family, Ivan, Sarah, Gabriella, Isabella, and their fur baby, Cookie. They all loved each other very much.

Four wonderful years passed. Then, on March 15, 2024, Ivan decided to take the next step in their relationship. In the most romantic and unforgettable way, as they celebrated their four-year anniversary, Ivan asked Sarah to be his wife! Surrounded by friends and family, they celebrated their engagement with a joyful celebration that lasted through the night.
