In the Summer of 2022, Sarah decided to take matters into her own hands. She "kept running into" Jonathan while he walked his dog, Rain, after work, and they eventually made light conversation here and there. Still nothing of consequence...

Then, on November 5, 2022, it finally happened. Jonathan and Sarah hit it off at the picnic table outside of their building (sources vary on whether it was a coincidence). Sarah left a note with her number on his front door, Jonathan texted her to go on a date, and they haven't looked back since!

Sarah and Jonathan share a long-held passion for life's simple pleasures: time in nature, strong coffee, reading in the sunlight, spending hours solving a puzzle or board game, speaking German, obsessively planning for life's many unforeseeable contingencies, and being "helicopter parents" for their dog (Rain) and cat (Sassy).
