Our Wedding

The couple both attended Ferris State University and met at the infamous Star Shooters bar of Big Rapids, MI a few weeks before Kyle graduated. Kyle was a bartender that made good strong drinks and Sarah frequently sat in his section of the bar.

Our Story

Sarah’s best friend, soul mate, and fellow Taco Bell lover. After countless adventures, laughs, and memories, it is safe to say that Sarah wouldn’t want anyone else to stand beside her.

One of Sarah’s best friends from college! Dog mom to the cutest little girl, Shay. Always ready to have fun and will say yes to Tequila.

Sarah’s college roommate for 5 years and one of her best friends since freshman year at Ferris State. Watch out for her crazy dance moves!

Helen is one of the most genuine people you will ever have the pleasure of knowing! We are so lucky she is in our Bridal Party!

One of Sarah’s oldest friends. Friends since middle school! Even though life has gotten in the way, we always pick right where we left off last time.

One of the Hawkins’ oldest family friends. Erin and Sarah grew up on the beaches of Portage Lake together. Planning our future weddings at the clubhouse when we were 7 to now having an actual wedding! Couldn’t imagine this day without her!

Erin O’donnel

One of Sarah’s best friends from college, roommate for 2 years, and one of the best mommas I know! She has such a beautiful spirit and we are so lucky to have her apart of our day.

Only knowing Karen a short time, we couldn’t picture this day without her! She is one of the goofiest and nicest people we know and knew she would be a good addition to the Bridal Party!

Kyle’s only niece! She has been planning this wedding since the day Sarah was introduced to the family. Even though the wedding isn’t in the Adkins backyard, we are still very excited for Kiley to be apart of our day!

Daughter of Justin, our Officiant, and Liz Gusick. One of the funniest, spunkiest, and most motivated people Sarah knows.

Adam has been Kyle best friend since he was in 10th grade. They grew up playing hockey together and being inseparable all through high school. Through the many years these two have stayed more than just best friend but more like brothers. 

Adam Ranck

These two met Kyles senior year of college and quickly became best friends as Tyler joined the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Kyle was Tylers best man and has been nothing short of family over the years.

Sarah’s brother, one of the most loyal and trustworthy people Sarah knows. We are honored to have him in our wedding.

Josh is Kyles middle brother, unfortunately for Josh he was stuck watching Kyle and Forced to have Kyle tag along by his side but because of this over the 28 years of Kyles life, Josh and Kyle are very close and would do anything for each other.

Rob is Kyles oldest brother, much like Josh, Rob was also forced to watch  Kyle most of his life.  Even with 10 years separating the two they act like that is much closer and again would go out of their way to help each other no matter what.

Neil is Kyle's Fraternity big brother. Neil has been there through everything with Kyle from the second he decided to Join the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. From signing hid Bid card to initiation to the every weekend golf round. It is a pleasure for Kyle to be able to share this next big moment with his " Big Bro"

Andrew is Kyles Fraternity Little brother. Kyle and Andrew became close from the time they first met ,and Kyle instantly knew he wanted Andrew to be his little brother in the fraternity. Also part of the every weekend golf crew, Kyle couldnt of imagined a wedding party without his "Little Bro"

Andrew Hancock

Aaron and Kyle are pledge brothers. These two have shared many big moments together from celebrating Initiation, Kyle being part of Aarons wedding party, to celebrating the births of Aarons two lovely daughters, and of course being part of the weekend golf crew. Kyle is super excited to be able to share another big life event with Aaron by his side.

Aaron Bisson

Dylan and Kyle met at Ferris state University in Mech Engineering Classes, once they realized they were both in rival fraternities and, having almost every class Junior and Senior year together they became closer than ever. After Graduation Dylan and Kyle were roomates. Dylan is one of Kyles closests Friends. Kyle is super excited to have Dylan also be apart of the big day.

Son of Justin, officiant, and Liz Gusick. Sarah used to babysit him and Liliana for many years. He is one hell of a skier and baseball player!!

Jacob Gusick

Hawkins family friend. Gave Sarah her diploma at High School graduation. Couldn’t think of a better person to officiate the wedding.
