What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?
We are providing limited transportation from The Ryder Hotel to the venue. Please text Joe at +13367824101 if you want to want to reserve a seat.
Another option would be to use a rideshare services to get to the venue, which is about 20-30 minutes from downtown Charleston, depending on traffic.
We will provide transportation for all guests back to downtown Charleston.
Parking is available but we highly recommend not driving if you are imbibing.
What time should we arrive at the wedding?
Our ceremony will start at 6:00 pm, so please plan to arrive no later than 5:45 pm.
Is there a hotel room block?
We do not have a hotel room block, but listed great places to stay on the travel and accommodations page.
Are kids welcome?
We adore children and they are welcome on Friday evening at the welcome party.
However, due to space limitations at our wedding venue, we kindly request that this be an adult-only event.
Is the wedding outdoors or indoors?
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place outdoors. We will have a tent and a rain plan in place.
What is the dress code?
Our wedding events will take place outdoors. Since June weather in South Carolina can be hot and humid, we encourage guests to prioritize breathable, lightweight fabrics while maintaining a polished look.
Additionally, some portions of the event will take place on grass so please plan your footwear accordingly.
For Women:
Dresses & Jumpsuits: Flowy cocktail dresses, midi or tea-length styles, and chic jumpsuits.
For Men: Suits & Jackets: Lightweight linen, cotton, or seersucker suits.
We want everyone to feel comfortable while celebrating with us—dress stylishly, stay cool, and enjoy the festivities!
