Because two people swiped right! That’s correct Nick and Sarah met on Match.com. Our first date was pizza in Elgin, and even on our first date the two of us couldn’t decide on a restaurant. Many dates, text conversations and long phone calls later Sarah moved in with Nick from her spacious Watermark apartment to his two story townhome. We were worried because our dogs Annie and Penny aren’t the friendliest around other dogs, at first they were reluctant but now both dogs just tolerate each other. Sarah met Nick’s daughter Olivia and bonded right away with their love of Disney, and singing. Nick proposed to Sarah during an escape room with Bridesmaid Jennifer in tow. The escape room was jewelry store themed and at the end Sarah found her engagement ring and turned around and Nick was proposing. Sarah could not believe it, she was shocked surprised but also beyond happy. Besides our love for our dogs Nick and Sarah enjoy making dinner together, watching tv and YouTube together and spending time with family and friends.

Jennifer and Sarah met around the time that Nick and Sarah met. At good ole Watermark apartment street parties! Jennifer coming from Texas and having her first winter in some time in Illinois spotted Sarah getting snow off of her car, weeks later they not only become friends but find out they are practically family Jennifer’s uncle is dating Sarah’s aunt!

Sarah and Laura have been besties since high school, Sarah stood up for Laura before they even knew each other, it was then when they became besties. Through relationships, heartbreaks, living miles apart, Laura and Sarah always pick up where the left off no matter how long it’s been.

Alissa is Nick’s cousin but they act more like brother and sister. Sarah and Alissa became friends by constantly taking jabs at Nick or doing crafts with Olivia.

Jared is Sarah’s brother. He has grown up teasing Sarah his whole life, and being mad that his sister always wanted to tag along, until Jared needed that DD when he was out with friends!

Chad is Sarah’s oldest brother. Family members will refer to Chad and Sarah as twins with their different mannerisms.

Nick and Bill became best friends in high school. The roles are now reversed and Bill is now the best man for Nick when Nick was his!
