St. Albert the Great Parish is less than 5 miles, approximately 15 minutes from The Steam Plant in downtown Dayton.

The ceremony will be indoors. The reception will primarily be indoors, although weather permitting, there will be space outdoors for cocktail hour and after dinner drinks.

The ceremony will begin at 3:30pm. We request you arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow ample time for parking and seating.

We love your kids, and we truly wish we could invite them all to the wedding and reception! But unfortunately we regretfully cannot accommodate all of our friends children at the reception venue.

You never know! Kidding aside, Memorial Day weekend in Dayton can be cool or warm. It could be cloudy and cool in the low 60s or bright and sunny in the mid 70s. We recommend checking weather apps a few days before traveling, and bringing some light layers in the case of cool weather.

Yes, both venues have plenty of parking.

There will be a small gap between the ceremony and the reception. We anticipate the ceremony ending at 4:15pm and cocktail hour at The Steam Plant begins at 5:30pm.

The church kindly asks that no pictures are taken during the ceremony. We look forward to many pictures at the reception!

Thank you to all of our friends and family traveling from out of town. Dayton, Ohio is within a 3-5 hour drive of major cities such as Detroit, Chicago, and Pittsburgh and 7 hours from Buffalo, NY. For those flying, the Dayton International Airport is the closest airport to the venue, less than 20 minutes away. The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is a little over an hour south of Dayton. If flying into Cincinnati, we recommend setting up transportation before arrival.

We have a block of rooms reserved at both the AC Marriott and the Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott. Downtown Dayton has many other hotel options near The Steam Plant as well!
