How do I RSVP?

RSVP is so simple and easy! We are asking that our guests RSVP via our website. Click the "RSVP" link, enter your name, then click "find your invitation". Your name and invited guest(s) will appear and this is where you are able to RSVP. Please RSVP by August 1, 2024.

Can I bring a guest with me?

Our venue has limited capacity and ouur goal is to keep our very special weekend as intimate as possible, we are choosing to celebrate with only our closest family and friends. A guest will appear on your RSVP if we have chosen to allow a plus one for your party.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will punctually begin at 3:00 PM. Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony beginning so plan your ferry bookings accordingly! If you are late, we ask that you do not interrupt the ceremony and hang tight for cocktail hour to begin.

What is the dress code?

We are asking our guests to arrive in semi-formal. We are expecting the weather to still be warm so light fabrics such as linen and light colors are highly suggested. Please avoid wearing white, ivory and champagne colors as those are reserved for the bride. We also ask to avoid wearing rust/terracotta or green as this color is reserved for the bridesmaids and groom!

Will food & drink be served?

YES. We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet with a selection of meat, side dishes and salad. An open bar serving beer and wine is also provided. Just a friendly reminder, if you are staying off the island, drinking and riding the ferry back is no fun so definitely be mindful but we also want you to have fun! Also, drinking and driving a golf cart is a no go. Please designate a golf cart driver if need be (there are no Ubers on the island).

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift to?

If you wish to gift us something, our registry tab is located at the top of our website. We ask that things be sent to our home address considering this is a destination wedding!

How do we get to Bald Head Island?

If you are traveling from out of state, one, flying or driving (if you're from Virginia or close to North Carolina) are your best bets. Please visit our Travel & Accommodations page for airport information.

How do we get onto Bald Head Island?

A ferry from Deep Point Marina will take you from Southport to Bald Head Island. One of the many cool things about BHI is no cars are allowed on the island! You will leave your cars behind (if driving) in a secure parking lot for $12/day. If taking an Uber/Lyft, they can drive you directly to where the ferry departs. We recommend booking your ferry reservations in advance whether you're staying on the island or coming just for our wedding day. Where do we stay?

We encourage our guests to make a vacation out of this, whether it's a weekend or longer. Bald Head Island is an experience and we want all of our guests to experience everything! Staying on the island is definitely the best for accommodations, however if you prefer, you can stay on the mainland in Southport, NC and ferry back and forth. Remember if you do stay in Southport, booking ferry reservations in advance is CRUCIAL. Please visit our Travel & Accommodations page for more information!
