Thomas and Sarah met at Camp Quality in 2016. Both had been involved for years before meeting, but they volunteered at different locations.

Thomas became the Camp Director of one of the CQ locations, which is when he became Sarah's boss. In 2022, they directed a camp together. During this year, Sarah and Thomas started to look at each other differently.

During the summer camp off-season, they became even closer friends. Thomas invited Sarah to emo night many times, and she finally made it in April 2023. Sarah invited Thomas (and his friends) to a bar while he was on his boys trip. There are no girls allowed on this trip, but the guys got it together to meet Sarah at the bar. Thomas visited Sarah a couple of weeks later and the rest of history.

Thomas planned the proposal for about six months before popping the question. Sarah had suspicions leading up to the proposal but had an excuse for everything.

Thomas proposed at camp. The friendship started at camp, it only made sense for the next chapter of their lives to start there. Thomas used two of Sarah's favorite things: Taylor Swift and The Bachelor. A camper played Love Story on the banjo, Thomas had signs made, and he quoted TSwift lyrics. He then asked Sarah to accept his final rose.

It's a love story, and Baby, I said yes!
