We like to pretend we met somewhere the classic way. That we locked eyes and that was it. We have a fake story where we’re sitting at separate tables at the China Bowl in Marley Station mall. We open our fortunes at the same time, his says "what you’ve been waiting for is right in front of you" and mine says "look back at it"…our eyes meet and then the rest is history.

Sarah - In reality we met the modern way, both on Tinder looking around reading bios and sorting through the dumpster fire that is online dating for someone that doesn't make you cringe. When I first saw Edward I swiped the other direction because he looked like a full on commitment-level grown man (don't worry he popped up again and now were getting married). When we finally matched we talked for a couple of months on snapchat and then eventually text. I wasn’t playing hard to get, it was more like forgetting to text "that strange man" back and cancelling dates with "that guy". I was so wrong for that... the date that stuck (a 2 1/2 hour movie on a weekday). He was so honest and charismatic. I thank God everyday that he was so persistent with me. I would have missed out on our beautiful life together.

Edward - From the typical going out around town trying to find someone to have a connection with, just ended up turning into a same old basic routine. Everyone kept telling me to try Tinder, it will help me meet new people. I pushed it off for months, saying "it's not for me, it won't work". I kept on doing the basic routine and I never got that spark I was looking for. I eventually said that's enough and started to use Tinder, I told myself "you never know". Time went on and the swiping continued...

The day, Sarah, popped up I immediately swiped right after reading her profile and looking at her photos. I just had a feeling something was there even with the little information I knew about her. Then what do you know, WE MATCHED! I got so excited but also nervous at the same time, "what do I do now". From messaging each other then eventually moving to text I knew that feeling I had in the beginning was real. Don't get me wrong, trying to get her to hangout was like pulling teeth or maybe she was just playing hard to get but I didn't care. I knew we had to meet in person. After months of talking back and forth we got to go on the first date. When I first saw her in the wonder women jacket and matching high top converse, standing in the corner, I was questioning what I was getting myself into but then again we did go see The Justice League movie so it made sense and I thought it was cute. We talked the whole movie and for those couple of hours I really got to know her better and I knew I wanted to continue whatever this was. After going on multiple dates and seeing how beautiful, caring, sarcastic, and loving she is I knew she was the one. The past 6 years has been the best time of my life and I wouldn't want anyone else as my ride or die! Can't wait to tie the knot and spend the rest of our lives together!

From there we met each others friends and family, we traveled and we’ve cared for one another deeply throughout everything. We are each others peace. We’ve built a whole life together including Ms. Hazel Rose Bohns our non-human love child. I cannot imagine sharing this life with anyone else.
