Our Wedding

We&nbsp;first&nbsp;met&nbsp;in&nbsp;high-school,&nbsp;freshman&nbsp;year,&nbsp;in&nbsp;English&nbsp;class.&nbsp;We&nbsp;were&nbsp;each&nbsp;others&nbsp;first&nbsp;high-school&nbsp;relationship,&nbsp;things&nbsp;ended&nbsp;that&nbsp;year&nbsp;but&nbsp;we&nbsp;always&nbsp;stayed&nbsp;really&nbsp;good&nbsp;friends&nbsp;throughout&nbsp;the&nbsp;years.&nbsp;We&nbsp;reconnected&nbsp;in&nbsp;Community&nbsp;College&nbsp;and&nbsp;we&nbsp;decided&nbsp;on&nbsp;giving&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;a&nbsp;second&nbsp;chance&nbsp;at&nbsp;love.&nbsp;We&nbsp;have&nbsp;been&nbsp;together&nbsp;for 9 years,&nbsp;in&nbsp;those&nbsp;years&nbsp;Sarah&nbsp;graduated&nbsp;community&nbsp;college,&nbsp;we&nbsp;adopted&nbsp;a&nbsp;cat&nbsp;and&nbsp;a&nbsp;ton&nbsp;of&nbsp;fish,&nbsp;plus&nbsp;moved&nbsp;from&nbsp;San&nbsp;Jose&nbsp;to&nbsp;Sacramento&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;couple&nbsp;years&nbsp;for&nbsp;Sarah&nbsp;to&nbsp;get&nbsp;her&nbsp;bachelors&nbsp;degree&nbsp;then&nbsp;moved&nbsp;back&nbsp;to&nbsp;San&nbsp;Jose.&nbsp;In&nbsp;this&nbsp;span&nbsp;of&nbsp;time,&nbsp;Brent&nbsp;wanted&nbsp;to&nbsp;propose&nbsp;earlier&nbsp;but&nbsp;Covid&nbsp;happened&nbsp;so&nbsp;his&nbsp;plans&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;work&nbsp;out&nbsp;until&nbsp;a&nbsp;couple&nbsp;years&nbsp;later.&nbsp;Brent&nbsp;proposed&nbsp;in&nbsp;Hana,&nbsp;Hawaii&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;private&nbsp;section&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;black&nbsp;sand&nbsp;beach.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;sure&nbsp;a&nbsp;surprise&nbsp;for&nbsp;Sarah&nbsp;because&nbsp;Brent&nbsp;doesn't&nbsp;do&nbsp;well&nbsp;with&nbsp;keeping&nbsp;surprises&nbsp;from&nbsp;her.&nbsp;Now&nbsp;we&nbsp;are&nbsp;both&nbsp;excited&nbsp;to&nbsp;spend&nbsp;our&nbsp;forever&nbsp;journey&nbsp;together&nbsp;and&nbsp;can't&nbsp;wait&nbsp;for&nbsp;everyone&nbsp;to&nbsp;come&nbsp;celebrate&nbsp;with&nbsp;us!

Travel time to the wedding venue from where we live in San Jose can be up to an hour depending on traffic. Please plan your travel time wisely.
