Our Wedding

Byron and I met October 2023 while I was working in Louisiana. I returned to Texas shortly after we met, and we got more acquainted over the phone. In my conversations with Byron, I quickly fell in love with his warmth and his wit, soon realizing I never wanted to go a day without talking to him. About a month into our long-distance friendship, Byron decided to come visit me in Texas. That weekend, we agreed we wanted to pursue a relationship with one another. Needless to say, we've fallen in love and are eager to spend the rest of our lives pursuing each other. I am beyond grateful to my family for loving me enough to be adamant that I look hard before I leap, to Byron's family for raising Byron and embracing me as their own, and to God for creating my mate whom I have the utmost adoration and respect for. If you're reading this, it's because in some way you are part of our story, and we want to celebrate our union with you! Our wedding is 10 days before Mardi Gras and in the middle of the New Orleans Carnival Season. If you're traveling for our wedding and have no desire to partake in Mardi Gras festivities, we highly recommend staying in Baton Rouge, LA or Gonzales, LA, as these will be more cost-friendly options (and closer to our venue)!
