Our Wedding

Nick first met Sarah on a group trip between mutual friends to Toronto at the beginning of their last semester at Cornell University. While Nick (the trip organizer) at first had to be convinced to add Sarah (a girl unknown to him) to the trip, by the end of it he had stolen her Snuggie as an excuse to see her again. And it worked. Through the last few months of college, their relationship blossomed, and before they knew it, it was time to make the tough decision of what to do next. Nick was going to North Carolina and Sarah to New York City. But they were persistent. They knew it would be hard, but Nick taught Sarah that anything worth having in life is something you have to work hard for. For two years, they flew back and forth between Durham, North Carolina, and the Big Apple, meeting each other for long weekends with plenty of FaceTimes in between. That was until March 2020, when Sarah moved to Durham (temporarily) and the distance was finally gone. Shortly after Covid, and now being able to work remotely, Sarah invited Nick to finally move to New York City. Though Nick always mocked "the city," it stole him away and became the place where they began to grow their lives together.
