We understand not everyone will be in Lisbon for all of these dates, but we wanted to share our plans for the week in case you’d like to join us for any of the following activities. We arrive in Lisbon in the morning on Monday, June 16th, and we are departing for our honeymoon at midnight on Saturday, June 21st. Here’s an overview of our itinerary:

Monday: Arrival day. Settle in, explore the vibrant city of Lisbon, and consider booking a dinner reservation with a Fado performance.

Tuesday: Take a scenic 45-minute train ride to the enchanting mountain village of Sintra. Sintra is home to two of Portugal's most iconic sites: Quinta Da Regaleria and Pena Palace. Quinta Da Ragleria is a sprawling garden featuring a series of caves, tunnels and a subterranean 13 level spiral staircase the Knights Templar built for their initiation ceremony. Pena Palace sits high on a hill and is known for its bright colors, dreamy towers, and mix of architectural styles - it looks like something out of a Disney movie! We plan to leave Rossio station in Lisbon's heart around 10 AM. Purchase tickets online for Quinta Da Ragaleria and/or the Pena Palace to avoid waiting in ticket lines when you arrive in Sintra.

Wednesday: Welcome Party at Topo Lisboa from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Join us for drinks, light bites, and a wonderful evening with everyone.

Thursday: The big day! Guests should arrive at the wedding location between 4:00 and 4:30 PM. The ceremony and reception will follow. More details will be shared soon.

Friday: Relaxing beach day and explore beautiful Casais. We’ll take a 40-minute train ride to relax at the beach during the day, and explore Cascais in the evening, so bring a change of clothes! Cascais is a gorgeous coastal town near Lisbon, known for its stunning beaches, charming old town, and vibrant atmosphere. We have reserved a section with sunbeds, canopies, complimentary kayaks and paddleboards, and a food and drinks package at Restaurant Emma Beach Club. Restaurant Emma is just a 2 minute walk from the train station and the cost for the reserved sun beds, canopies, watersports, food and drinks from 1:00 PM- 5:00 PM is 80 euros per person.

Saturday: Explore Lisbon’s many sights during the day. In the evening, join us for a sunset cruise on the Tagus River for our last night in Lisbon. Book your spot here:
