Just when I was about to give up on dating, I found Adam!I decided to give online dating one more chance and I’m so glad I did! When we matched we started talking and I asked him out on a date. He told me he had to work and we kept talking. He then asked me out on a date but I wasn’t feeling well and lost my voice so I said I couldn’t make it. Finally, he asked me out again but my dad was visiting. I didn’t want to cancel again so met up with him after he got off work at a local dive bar, Creekside.We were having a good conversation but he yawned a few times so I thought, well another one bites the dust. Turns out he was just tired, and we continued talking. My dad was visiting for a few more weeks so while we didn’t see each other much, the conversations never ended.We finally went on a real date, and hiked Koko Head and the rest is history.I’m so glad I took a chance and swiped right on you!

Flights: You would need to fly into HNL (Honolulu airport) Costco has the best deals for renting cars as well as booking hotels. Airbnb and Vrbo are also good options as well. The wedding and reception as well as where we live are located in Kailua (96734) so one nearby would work!

Travel

This swap meet is a place to get great souvenirs. I believe it’s $1.50 to get in per person and it is held Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Diamond Head State Monument

North shore in the winter time is amazing. The waves get up to 30-40 feetBeaches - pipline, sunset beach, keiki beach. People go snorkeling at sharks cove but the water might be too rough for that. There’s a pillbox hike across from sunset beach that has good views. Ehukai pillbox hike.&nbsp;Turtle Bay is beautiful for sunset and drinks&nbsp;Food- any of the food trucks are delicious in KahukuUncle Bo’s, Ted’s Bakery (haupia pie), Kono’s, Stonefish, Rajinee (Thai food), Papi’s (Mexican), Haleiwa Joe’s, Paalakai, Jenny’s shrimp truck, Matsumoto shave ice,&nbsp;Seven Brothers There’s a beautiful drive from north shore to Kailua or vice VersaAlong this drive is kuoloa ranch, Polynesian cultural center, Chinamans hat, and the MacNut farm.&nbsp;Hikes- Laie falls (longer hike), crouching lion (first part is fine … second part is a little more advanced)&nbsp;Food - Papa Ole, waiahole poi factory&nbsp; Kailua (this is where I live)&nbsp;Lanikai beach - can kayak or SUP to the mokes or just hang out at the beach&nbsp;Lanikai pillbox hike (amazing views for sunrise)&nbsp;Food - breakfast - mokes, cinnamons, over easy. Coffee shops - Chad Lous, Morning Brew, Kalapawai (dinner too) pieology (make you’re own pizza) Uahi grill (local food) Baci Bistro &amp; Assagios( Italian) Maui Brewing - food isn’t the best, good to go during happy hour for pizza and beers, Goen - Asian infused dining - a little more expensive, Nico’s (seafood), Buzz’sKaneohe- Haleiwa Joe’s, Kizuna sushi, KJ fried Chicken Waimanalo/Hawaii KaiLighthouse hike(paved road - easy and beautiful views) also if you hike down where the whale signs are it’s the tide pools (little more difficult)Food - ono’s (good, cheap fish tacos)&nbsp;Along that drive is blow hole and a lava tubeThen there’s Kona Brewery which is on the water In Hawai’i Kai&nbsp;Hikes - any of the ridge hikes are beautiful&nbsp; Koolina - west side of the island&nbsp;Lagoons are nice to go to the beach but have to go early to get parking&nbsp;Food - monkeypod is amazing for happy hour. Outside area usually has good music, Sushi Bay, Ewa Golf Course, 604*Paradise Cove is a good spot for a luau&nbsp;They have 4 seasons and aulani (Disney) resorts there too&nbsp; Swap meet - Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday at the aloha stadium. $1.50 per person to enter and has lots of souvenirs for cheap. Ask for Kaimaina (ky - ma - ina) discount. That means you’re from the island or live there and will give you a better price. Don’t be afraid to ask for cheaper deal Pearl Harbor is a must see and restaurant 604 is next door that has great food and prices!&nbsp; Pearl City/ Waipahu food places- Fresh Catch, Shige, Tanioka, Kuni, Highway Inn,&nbsp; Waikiki - ABC stores are like CVS/7-11 but their prices are guided for tourists.&nbsp;Na Hoku booze cruise is great for sunset hours. About 1 1/2 hour ride that leave from Dukes and comes back same spot. I think it’s $45 per person drinks are free.&nbsp;Dukes on Sunday is nice. Kapena plays nice music and their food is also very yummy (mac nut crusted opah is my favorite) - if too busy go upstairs at Hula Grill - delicious food too!&nbsp;Duraku - sushi place&nbsp;Maui Brewing Company&nbsp;International Market place has great restaurants and shopping&nbsp;So many other great restaurants but will be a little pricey due to where you are&nbsp;Diamond head hike is a must do&nbsp; Kakaako (in Honolulu) is a new upcoming area with lots of breweries and good food spots.&nbsp;Chinatown (lots of homeless) but has great food spots as well. Opal Thai is an amazing experience and some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had! The experience alone at this restaurant is awesome - ran by the owner Opal and his family.&nbsp; Kahala hotel is awesome for food and beach - good views. Can also see many&nbsp;mansions in that area! Magnum PI was filmed there way back
