With this wedding taking place during the hottest week of the year, it is no surprise that there are highs expected nearing triple digits. Additionally, humidity will range from 60-80% causing the temp to feel like 105⁰F and making a fairly favorable atmosphere for scattered afternoon thunderstorms typical for this region. The good news is there are no hurricanes or tropical storms expected anywhere near the Smokies for the weekend and day of. In the unlikely case of severe weather, guests will be notified of any changes made as soon as possible.

Due to the South's humid summer heat and the unpredictable nature of their daily storms, you may want to bring a handheld fan and/or an umbrella to the ceremony. Lastly, the UV index will be at max everyday so for your safety, please apply sunscreen and bugspray as needed. Remember to stay hydrated!
