Our Wedding

On a Funtember eve back in 2017, Sarah &amp; Christopher were both having a casual evening at SWR. It was Sarahs very first night on the island, having moved there the day before, and one of Christophers last for 3 months before shipping out. While they didnt technically meet that night, over the next 2 years they met several times, always enjoyed each others company and were told countlessly by mutual friends that they would hit it off. Careers and life had to align, and... ...friends were right. In the summer of 2019, amor fati! Between Christophers connection to Sarahs hometown, Hingham, and Sarahs washing ashore and instant love of the island, they were a match that had felt right all along. Christopher shared his love of the island with Sarah, and she knew shed found her mate. Five years together have been filled with Christopher changing careers from the transient merchant mariner life to becoming a local Firefighter, Sarah earning a masters degree, the one and only Chief monster (our dog), and a love that has grown deeper with each magical milestone. Christopher proposed at sunset, down on one knee, and there was never a doubt in Sarahs heart. Time to celebrate the love!
