Our story begins in June 2022 on a dating app during a sweltering Miami summer. Sarah and Dino connected with a mutual swipe on Hinge. On the app, Sarah loved Dino's picture of him hiking in California. Dino loved Sarah’s sense of adventure and happiness that came through in her photos.

They lived an hour apart in Miami so Dino picked a spot in the middle for their first date, a restaurant on the water, to meet for a drink. They both remember the first time they saw each other, swept away in the giddy delight of a first date. They were the last ones to leave the bar. Neither of us dated a single person after our first date, both so excited to see where the possibility of our connection would go.

Fast forward a few months later, we fell in love in Key West, continuing to learn and love each other more deeply as they fared life's ups and downs together. Dino supported Sarah through her surgery (a game changer) and they eventually moved in together. Learning and growing in love, both individually and as a couple, their love story continued to grow.

Fast-forward to September 2024, where Sarah and Dino took their first trip to Italy. First up was Rome, where we drank in the sites and delighted in the food and sweated profusely in Italy's capital. We then traveled to Sicily, a new place for us both!

Dino surprised Sarah by suggesting a road trip to a place in the mountains, across the island, at the top of one of Sicily's tallest peaks . Sarah was questioning the entire way, Dino fighting to keep it a surprise.

Dino brought Sarah to the place that he fell in love with while researching Sicily before the trip - a beautiful amphitheater overlooking the hills of Sicily. Meditation music was playing. The sun was setting and Dino got down on one knee and proposed. It was an easy yes for Sarah.

So here we are a year later so excited to be asking our friends and family to join us in the celebration of our love, of us choosing each other on this life journey.
