Eric & Sarah met in Atlanta, GA on December 8th, 2017. They were out with friends at Top Golf in Midtown. Sarah was completely unaware that Eric was going to be in attendance, but instead of being the third wheel she was in for a surprise. Little did they know, that that night, they would meet the love of their lives. Kevin Kern (Sarah's dad) was also unaware, as of that day, that Eric was going to be the one.

On February 17th, only a few months later, Eric and Sarah met again on Sarah's college tour of Anderson University. Eric's long gap year turned into a day to remember as Sarah and Eric started to talk. They talked a lot!

They started spending a lot of time together in April of 2018. Going to the movies, the High Museum of Art, & even out to eat at Cheeky Taqueria at the Buckhead Pavillion.

In Fall of 2018 Sarah went to Birmingham-Southern College. On day 4 of being there they went on a brief 24 hour break. Neither one could stand being separated.

Eric and Sarah worked hard to keep their relationship strong for 4 years. Not long after Sarah's graduation she moved to Greenville, SC and moved in with Eric.

On November 29th, 2024, Eric Finally Proposed!!

(Now if you know Eric and Sarah you would know this took FOREVER!! 7 years of dating & a long push from close friends to make it happen. But eventually they were engaged.)
