In June of 2013, Sarah &amp; Matt first met while working together at Carmen’s Pizzeria. Sarah had just started her first job as a counter girl, while Matt was the delivery driver. During one Friday night shift together, Sarah decided to play a little prank on Matt. Using the employee phone number list hanging on the wall, she anonymously texted him throughout the night. After hours of confusing and slightly freaking Matt out, Sarah finally admitted it was her. And just like that, they got each other’s numbers for the very first time.

HOW WE MET

Fast forward four years later to August of 2017. Sarah was heading to a preseason Eagles vs. Dolphins game in Philadelphia, completely unaware that Matt would also be there. As Sarah walked through the parking lot at Lincoln Financial Field, she noticed a handsome yet familiar face. After doing a double take, she realized it was Matt — her former co-worker — parked just four spots away from her. What were the odds?Although Sarah was too shy to say hello in the moment, she instantly regretted it as the day went on. The very next day, she decided to message Matt to apologize for not saying hi. (Typical Sarah) But that one simple text message changed everything. From that day on, they talked every single day — and they still haven’t stopped.

IT WAS FATE

Their friendship continued to grow over the next year, until Matt realized he was completely falling for her. On August 12, 2018, Matt took Sarah on her dream date: a picnic at Liberty State Park. There, he asked her to be his girlfriend, and the two have been inseparable ever since.Over the years, Sarah &amp; Matt have shared so many incredible milestones together — from moving into their first apartment to buying their first home.

OUR RELATIONSHIP

Then came February 9, 2025. Six and a half years later, the Philadelphia Eagles were headed to the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs. Sarah &amp; Matt planned to watch the game in their newly renovated basement — a project Matt had spent the entire winter working on. As the Eagles dominated the Chiefs, Matt couldn’t have been happier. In that moment, he knew he was about to do something unforgettable. At the two-minute warning, Matt got down on one knee and proposed to Sarah. And what did Sarah say? Absolutely nothing… because she was completely speechless and forgot to give him an answer HAHA. Seconds after, reality kicked in and she said YES! 🤍

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is located ~44 miles (45 minutes) from the Hampton Inn @ Neptune/Wall.

Hampton Inn by Hilton in Neptune/Wall is approximately 18 minutes away (~11 miles) from the wedding venue. There will be a shuttle provided to/from the hotel &amp; venue. Uber/Lyft is also available for transportation if you miss the shuttle. Please be mindful of transportation if you plan on drinking. We want all of our guests to arrive and return safely! This hotel is half a mile from the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets and a 15-minute drive from the beach. Amenities included are free Wi-Fi access, an indoor pool, a fitness center, and a hot tub. TVs are available in each guest room and a microwave and refrigerator are available in select rooms. A complimentary hot breakfast is served every morning in the hotel lobby from 6am-10am so do not miss out!
