We met on February 17, 2024 at 4am in 20 degree snow and ice. We were packing up a van to begin a 5 hour drive to St. George, UT with 12 other friends! Throughout the long weekend, we had many interactions including a mini homework session (in which the internet stopped working, resulting in us having one of the first of many long conversations), helping each other with dishes, laughing, hiking, and sitting by each other in the van every chance we got.

By the end of the weekend, Sarah had convinced Tanner to get her number, and we went on a date within a week. For the next 3 weeks, we quickly fell for each other while exchanging countless voice clips and chatting over long phone calls.

Our love has grown through many "medium"-distance phone calls (Tanner in Ogden and Sarah in Logan), trips to visit each other's families, Tanner's college graduation, a summer full of extra long distance because of FSY, so many inside jokes, new job transitions, laughter, scripture studies, and joyful memories.

We enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, pickleball, and walks. We love serving together, attending the temple, and spending time with our loved ones.

We will be sealed for time and all eternity in the Ogden, UT Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We can't wait to celebrate the start of our forever with YOU!!
