Check out some of Derek and Sarah's favorite places in the Detroit area!

Start your morning out walking the Detroit Riverfront where you can get a stunning view of Windsor, Canada. After working up an appetite, walk or drive over to a few breakfast spots! Check out Cannelle Detroit for some croissants or pastries OR head to Detroit Institute of Bagels for Detroit's take on creative bagel concoctions (they have lemon cream cheese!).

Head over to some of Detroit's great museums: The Detroit Institute of the Arts, The Motown Museum, and the Michigan Science Center. Or! If you are wanting to enjoy some time outdoors, head on over to Belle Isle. Belle Isle is a gorgeous waterfront island where you can hike, swim, fish, kayak, walk the walkway, get some great pictures, and even go to their aquarium. Bring a picnic and enjoy the scenery!

Of course... time for lunch! In Detroit, join the debate and identify whether you prefer the Coney Dog at Lafayette or American. This means you should split a dog at each place, and leave with an opinion of who wins. These are right next to each other... so you don't have to travel too far! If you're loving the waterfront, grab a bite at Andiamos and get a seat overlooking the river, or enjoy a meal atop the RecCen, the home to General Motors in Hearth 71 or Highlands Steakhouse.

Or if you're looking for a quick nosh and some fun boutiques, head over to The Jolly Pumpkin for salads and pizza downtown and check out the local stores, Shinola, The Nest, and The Bird for some cute Detroit knick knacks!

Want to check out a Detroit ballpark and see a game instead!? See the Tigers play the Toronto Blue Jays in a fierce game of baseball at Comerica Park at 1:10pm. Just make sure you're back in time to see the couple tie the knot!
