Isaac and Sarahs love story is like a beautiful melody that started to play within the walls of Oak City Baptist Church. Both devout members of the congregation, they found themselves drawn together through their shared faith and passion for worship.

Their journey began in the vibrant atmosphere of Pursuit, the churchs young adult ministry. Initially, Sarah led worship alongside her dear friend Harrison (Groomsman). Eventually, Isaac would join the group of worship leaders with his skillful guitar strumming and his voice of praise. It was here, in the midst of worship, that their hearts began to harmonize with God as their guiding melody.

As Isaac and Sarah grew closer, their friendship deepened, intertwined with the bonds of their faith community. Isaac seamlessly became a part of Sarahs circle of friends within the collegiate ministry, and their time together became filled with laughter, shared dreams, and endless conversations about their shared passions.

Their collaboration in leading worship became more than just a musical partnership; it was a reflection of the harmony they found in each others presence. With each chord struck and each note sung, their love for each other blossomed, resonating with the same authenticity and purity that marked their worship.

Then, on a day as special as their love, May 25th, 2023, Isaac and Sarah took a step beyond friendship and embraced their relationship. With Gods blessing, they embarked on a journey of love and companionship, where every moment was a testament to their shared commitment to each other and to their faith in Him!

Now, Isaac and Sarahs love story serves as a testament to the power of faith in God, friendship, and the transformative nature of love. Their union is not just the joining of two hearts, but a beautiful symphony of devotion, with God at the center, composing the melody of their lives together. As they embark on this new chapter, surrounded by the love and support of their family and friends, they know that their love story is just beginning, with countless more verses yet to be written. Now,the rest is history!

Isaac had been planning this special day for months, determined to give Sarah the moment she had dreamed of since she was a little girl. On May 18th, 2024, they visited Cades Cove with Isaac’s family under the disguise of a family photoshoot. As they explored the park, Sarah remained completely unaware while Isaac grew increasingly nervous with each photo stop.

Nearing the end of their drive through, they arrived at the charming Carter Shields Cabin, a quaint spot with a little path leading up to it. After posing for a final family picture, Isaac knew it was time. With a racing heart, he got down on one knee, and caught Sarah completely by surprise. In that magical moment, Isaac asked the question they had both been waiting for, and with joyful tears, Sarah said YES!
