Cocktail attire. This is an outdoor ranch style venue, so it is not formal. There are many paved walkways, but also some uneven garden stepping stone, gravel, or dirt pathways to be mindful of. The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors. A light sweater or jacket might be needed after the sun goes down.
Are children invited to the wedding and/or reception?
This is an adults only event for both the ceremony and reception. We love your children dearly, but due to space restrictions at the venue, we cannot accommodate children. We hope you understand and can still join us on our special day.
What is the weather like in San Diego
October in San Diego is usually pretty dry and warm (75-80s) during the day. We often get the Santa Anna winds during this time, which can bring in dry windy weather. If you venture inland during the day, it will be much hotter, while the coastal areas are a bit cooler. It can get chilly when the sun goes down - you might want to pack layers like pants and a light jacket or sweater just in case.
What is parking like at the venue?
Follow GPS to El Paseo. This is a private road where you will encounter a sign that states that there is a locked gate ahead. This is not the case; proceed past this sign. We have placed 2 "Victoria Ranch" signs at critical intersections on El Paseo. You will make a sharp left at the 1st Victoria Ranch sign and right at the very next intersection with the 2nd Victoria Ranch sign. In addition to the 2nd sign, there is often a white truck parked at this intersection - go right BEFORE the white truck. Continue down that road and keep right past the hay bales (the driveway becomes a 1-way loop at this point). Guests can park in the paved lot they encounter on the right before the hay bales or at the small paved lot at the bottom of the hill after the cabins. If those lots are full, overflow parking is in the dirt lot where the hay bales are located.
There will be a parking attendant to assist.
Ride share users can be dropped off by the cabins before the 2nd parking lot.
