What should I wear?
The dress code is semi-formal, or Sunday best. We encourage you to bring comfortable shoes for the reception as walking on unpathed grass and gravel will be necessary (not to mention this ensures happy dancing!). Please refrain from wearing white or ivory out of respect for the bride.
Will the event be held indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be inside the St. Jude Catholic Church.
The reception will be held inside an airplane hangar with large open doors. Be sure to check the weather before arriving to the reception to be prepared for Texas April temperatures!
How do I RSVP? When do I need to RSVP by?
It is never too early to RSVP. We will need all replies by March 16 to have a plate and chair for all!
RSVP through this website, or by calling Sarah at 214-226-6329 or Hayden 214-385-8288.
Can I bring a date?
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Are the wedding ceremony and the reception at the same venue?
We are celebrating at different locations!
We are having our ceremony at St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen, TX at 1 pm.
Our reception is located at the Adams Hangar in Van Alstyne, TX.
Addresses are on your invitations.
What time should guests arrive to the ceremony?
The marriage ceremony will start promptly at 1:00 pm. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to be seated when the service starts.
Can I attend the ceremony even if I am not Catholic/religious?
Yes! We would love for you to join us at the ceremony even if you are not Catholic or religious. We only ask that you are respectful of our faith and beliefs and participate where you are able during the ceremony (sitting and standing when asked, etc). We will have a program available so all attending can follow along.
When should guests arrive to the reception?
To budget in plenty of travel time between the church and reception, we will have a Happy Hour from 3:00-4:30. The Bride & Groom will be making their grand entrance at 4:30 and dinner will be served shortly after.
What if I can only come to the reception?
Keep in mind that the ceremony is the most important part of the day to us, and we would absolutely love for you to be there. However, if that is not possible, we would still love to celebrate with you at the reception!
What's for dinner?
We will be serving homecooked beef brisket and turkey as well as various sides.
