We met through a mutual friend in the spring of 2015. Our first date was a double date with this mutual friend and her boyfriend at the time to dinner and a movie. I highly recommend NOT doing a double date as your first date! It did not go well. We both knew it didn’t go as planned, but at the end of the night once we both got home, Jeremy had texted Sarah asking for a redo first date alone. Sarah was skeptical because she thought “there is no way this is going to work.” But she decided to give it a try anyway. A few weeks later, we went on the redo first date. It went WAY better! We got to know each other even more, learning what similarities and differences we had. After about another month, Jeremy set up a whole scavenger hunt for Sarah to do one night, June 12th, 2015, and it ended with him at the pavillion at the local park asking her to be his girlfriend officially! The rest is history and we are where we are today, over 6 years later and happier than ever! ❤️
