We first met at work. Steve was working in IT at Union Home Mortgage and Sarah joined the company in September 2017. The first time we met was for a brief 15 minute IT training when Sarah went to Ohio for onboarding and we wouldn’t see each other again until April 2018 at a corporate event in Florida. We hit it off in Florida and haven’t stopped thinking about each other since! We started dating long distance - Steve in Ohio and Sarah in North Carolina. It wasn’t long before Steve decided to drop everything and move south in October 2018.

We had fun living in Western NC - we did some traveling, some socializing - then Covid hit and we did a whole lot of nothing quarantined in our house! Somewhere in the middle of Covid 2020 we figured nothing else was going on so we might as well have a baby. Otto joined us shortly after and has kept us busy ever since. We decided having a baby wasn’t enough chaos so a move to Ohio was planned and executed in September 2021 (despite Otto’s best efforts to drive us to insanity throughout the process).

Steve FINALLY decided after 4 years living together and a baby that he wanted to put a ring on it and here we are. Planning a wedding. What better place than Asheville, NC where it all started? We look forward to celebrating with you all!
