We never thought that the guy who eats his cheese sticks (somewhat) correctly and the girl who doesn’t at all would end up here. November 2021…the wonderful dating app Hinge (thank you dating apps) brought us together. Ryan asked Sarah his ever so important question of “How do you eat your cheese sticks?” He must’ve been ok with the answer because they proceeded to have their first date at Barrio. Ryan later said that he went on many (terrible) Hinge dates before finding Sarah, whereas this was Sarah’s first dating app date (and she almost didn’t go). But years later and four animals deep our love and ability to handle each others weirdness and quirks has only grown. We’ve had many ups and downs, highs and lows but ultimately it has only made our love for one another stronger. Ryan paints his mini-figures and Sarah reads her books. We just get each other. Sarah will always be the better cook and Ryan will be the handy man (there have been too many almost stove fires and one real life stove fire—anddd Sarah has learned to not use a tool without supervision). We are so excited to see what our future holds with Ryan starting a new job at JP Morgan in 2025 and Sarah graduating school as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2026. And of course thank you all for living through this journey with us, we wouldn’t be here today without you by our sides.
