Everything started when Joe leaned over to Sarah and asked, "Does that guy look like Tobey McGuire?"

Sarah and Joe met in late 2019 and began dating in May 2020. Even as the world shut down, it wouldn't stop them from going on dates; they'd dress up, order Uber Eats, and chat and play games together online.

Joe would spend as much time as he could over at Sarah's apartment in Lakewood. When she moved to Rocky River, Joe would spend most of his time over there. It didn't take long before the two started living together.

They're inseperable. Every night is spent watching their favorite shows or playing their favorite games together. They both work from home, and nothing brightens their day more than when one of them pops into the other's office just to say hi.

Sarah and Joe love to take trips together. They've visited state parks in Maumee Bay and Mohican, shared college memories in Akron and Columbus, and have made great use of their gold passes at Cedar Point. With friends, they've traveled as far as Boston, and with family, they've seen the countryside of Kentucky and the sand dunes of Michigan (as well as the snow dunes of northern Wisconsin).

Joe left the country for the first time in his life (and couldn't have done it without Sarah to help him) when they visited his family in the Dominican Republic. It was there, as they looked at the sunset, when they excitedly agreed to spend the rest of their lives together.
