Let’s re-tie the knot! We eloped on April 28th, 2025, but can’t imagine truly getting married without YOU there. So we’re doing it again! Please join us for a vow renewal and a good, old fashioned backyard bonfire with food, dancing and celebration.

Can I bring my kids?

Due to limited space at the ceremony venue, we are unable to accommodate children at the ceremony. However, children are welcome to attend the reception afterward as we have plenty of room and plenty of food!

What is the dress code?

While we would like everyone to look presentable for the ceremony, wear what you’re comfortable in. If that’s a suit, then go for it! If that’s a nice pair of jeans and a dress shirt, go for it! Cowboy boots? We love it! Cowboy hats? Double love it! For the party afterward, wear whatever you want! Jeans? Sure! Sweats? Sure! If you a Texan and 50 degrees is an arctic tundra to you, wear a snowsuit! That’s not a problem here. Wear whatever will make you want to have fun. Just please don’t wear white. Our bridesmaids will be stationed sniper style in the trees with a paintball gun for anybody showing up in a white dress. Don’t be that guy.

What will the weather look like?

While we can’t control the weather, we can give you an idea of the average temps and what to expect. On average, this weekend in October can still have beautiful sunny days. This is what we’re hoping for. The average during the day can be between the mid 50s to low 60s. Expect it to get chilly outside that night. It will be in the 40s but is not unheard of to go lower. With that being said, we will have bonfires, space heaters and lots of dancing to keep us warm.

What will the alcohol situation look like?

BYOB. We love a good party! If you want to drink, great! If you don’t, we love that too. We do ask that no alcohol is brought to the ceremony. This is at a church camp, so as you could imagine, drinking is frowned upon here. This is why we are not having the reception here! Our bonfire at the Proulx house (yes, this is the same Proulx house where we met!) is alcohol friendly. We are going to ask that you bring whatever it is you would like to drink, because have you SEEN wedding prices these days? We’re cheap. What can we say? We will have non-alcoholic beverages available though. And if you forget, Mike’s General Store is less than five minutes away. We just ask that you do not drink and drive.

DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE

This isn’t a question. Just don’t do it! If you plan on partaking, make sure you have a plan. You can bring a tent and pitch it at the venue. Otherwise, we will find you a ride. We do NOT want injury, jail time or worse.
