OUR STORY

Our story.... oh boy where do I even begin.. This is not going to be your typical boy meets girl and they fall in love.. It's more of a boy meets girl and it takes 7ish years for girl to realize they are perfect for each other...ha So if you are actually reading this well you are in for a real treat.

By the way, if you haven't figure out this out already this is Sarah writing this because well I told Jordan to do it a while ago and he didn't want to so here I am finally done procrastinating over this and putt in all on paper.

Okay, our story.... Once upon a time back in 2007 this shy little girl transferred over to the public school and didn't know all but a few people. I'll be honest we never really noticed each other in high school or so I thought. Well we did the whole school thing maybe said hi in the hallway passing by but that's about it.

After high school arrives... Jordan somehow found Sarah's # and would text her cause heaven forbid Sarah text anyone first.... Then the next 3 or so years consisted of Jordan texting Sarah literally every time she really needed someone to be there for her... it's like Jordan had a camera watching Sarah at all times.. cause come on that's not creepy at all right? We both were there for each other when we headed someone. We hung out a couple times then nothing would ever amount to anything.... I am actually really surprised Jordy didn't give up on Sarie. See those who really know Sarah know that she is a very stubborn, independent person. Well Jordan kept courting Sarah and getting shut down.

FINALLY - Sarah must have been hit in the head with something or maybe she opened her eyes to what was always there for her....

THE DATE...

Sarah agreed to go out for a beer with Jordan. They went to the Beaver in Elysian. Here we bonded over Busch Lights. (side note--- Sarah never really liked beer all that much until Jordan came around.. she forced herself to drink it to impress Mr. Jordy.) The date must have been great because after that they continued to talk every day and hang out much more..

THE PROPOSAL.....

Jordan arranged a vacation for us and our closest friends up to Grand Marais. We stayed in a lodge on the Gunflint Trail. I had always wanted to go see Devil’s Kettle. So one day we made the trip up there. For those of you who don’t know… the walk to Devil’s Kettle is a VERY VERY long walk. Our whole group was troopers though. If you ask Jordan, he will tell you that was the worse/ best walk of his life. Worst because well he was so nervous and best because well he got Sarah…. Sarah could tell a little something was up because Jordan seemed so nervous. He even asked if what he was wearing was good. Those of you who know Jordan, he is not much for fashion. Most times you see him in a neon cut off with camo crocs. But that day he wanted to make sure he looked best. Anyway we get up to this kettle. Kettle was beautiful defiantly worth the long walk. Do it if you have the chance!!! Jordan even arranged for my best friend to take picture of the proposal. Little shout out to T-West Media for documenting the whole thing. Those pictures will always be so special to me. Thank you to Zach for hiding in the bushes to video tape the whole thing. Well any who Jordan got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. Not sure what he all said when he was down there but it must have been good because I said yes. Then we all celebrated with some Busch Lights. The rest of the trip was filled with many laughs, and calls home to tell everyone news, and many many great memories.
