Since we want everyone to be safe and have fun, there are RideShare options in the town of Winter Park such as Uber and Lyft, but please note that this is a mountain town and availability can occasionally be limited. In the case that a RideShare service is not an option, The Lift is the free public shuttle system for the town of Winter Park and is a great option for guests to check out the area!
For most folks, we recommend using the Summer Black Line (view schedule here) as it runs from 7:00am to almost 3:00am and has stops for each event of the weekend, as well as stops for the four lodging options offered by Winter Park Resort on their booking link. The town of Winter Park is essentially just one long road, but here are some specifics that may be helpful if you choose to use The Lift:
Bus Stops on the Summer Black Line for planned weekend events:
Karaoke on Thursday night: "Vasquez & Main" and "Cooper Creek Square" bus stops are closest to the bar (Devil's Craft - Kitchen | Bar | Stage).
Welcome Celebration on Friday night: "Rosie's Way Northbound" or "Rosie's Way Southbound" bus stops are closest to the restaurant (Noble Buck Brewing Co).
Wedding Ceremony on Saturday: "Winter Park Resort" bus stop is closest to the Gondola (at the base of the mountain).
Bus Stops on the Summer Black Line for Winter Park lodging options:
Zephyr Mountain Lodge: "Winter Park Resort" bus stop
Parry Peak Lofts: "Winter Park Resort" bus stop
Iron Horse Resort & Vintage Hotel: these are located closest to the "Winter Park Resort" bus stop, but for closer access, call the Flex Line for free service (970-726-4163).
You pull the line on the bus to request the stop you are wanting. We encourage folks who are planning to utilize this free shuttle to download The Lift Rider App on your smartphone to see the Summer Black Line schedule, to use the interactive map, and to live-track the Black Line shuttle during your stay. If you are lodging somewhere other than the four Winter Park Resort options listed above, we would recommend checking to see if a different bus line would be better for your stay or if another way of transportation makes more sense.
