Sarah and Edward met in the fall of 2014, which was the beginning of their freshman year of college. They met through a mutual friend, their Best Man Dan! Though Sarah and Edward attended different universities, over those 4 years of college, they maintained a friendship. They caught up over Skype every couple of months and when they had a break from college, they went back home to St. Louis where they went on all kinds of adventures with their mutual friends.

After they both graduated from college in the spring of 2018, Sarah and Edward moved back to St. Louis where they went on their first official date! They had spent so many hours talking and knew they had a special connection. It was not long after that they became an official couple on July 1st, 2018.

Shortly after they started dating, Sarah moved away (again) to pursue a master's degree in Kansas City, MO. Though this time apart was challenging, especially so early in their relationship, they found ways to keep in touch despite their busy lives of working and studying. Most commonly, Edward and Sarah spent many hours playing video games with their friend, Dan, and Edward's brother, Chris. Edward also frequently traveled to Kansas City to see Sarah and explore the new city together. Kansas City is the place their relationship really flourished and where they learned how well they balance each other.

Two years and one master's degree later, Sarah moved back to St. Louis and the long distance was finally over! The two enjoyed making life-long friends and memories back in their home city. Two years after settling down in St. Louis, Edward proposed to Sarah in Forest Park and they celebrated with family and friends.

Sarah and Edward are so excited to get married and to celebrate their love with all their family and friends! Can't wait to see you on the big day!
