When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Our cocktail hour will begin at 3:30pm and the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Please give yourself enough time to arrive, enjoy a drink, and find your seat.

What's the dress code?

Casual

will the ceremony and reception be in one place?

Yes - The ceremony and reception will take place at the Ijams Homesite, the nature center's wedding venue. 

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Yes -  Signage will be available to direct guests to event parking

What if it rains during the ceremony and reception?

The ceremony will be outside no matter the weather. The reception will be outside but it is covered by a tent. We recommend wearing shoes that you don't mind getting wet/muddy.

Is there a registry?

Your presence is a gift enough! And we are grateful to have everything we need. However, if you would like to still gift us, we ask that you contribute to our honeymoon fund.

We have reserved a hotel block at the Courtyard, conveniently located in downtown Knoxville, less than 25 minutes from the Knoxville airport (TYS) and 10 minutes from our wedding venue. Block rates are $169/night for a standard king room and $180/night for a double queen room. There is a daily parking garage fee of $25. The hotel block is available from Wed., May 7 - Mon., May 12. Guests have until April 8, 2025, to reserve rooms. Want to get active? Head to Knoxville Adventure Collective to paddle downtown, float downriver, or bike around town! Check out their event schedule for morning SUP yoga and sunset paddles.

Ready to rip around mountain bike trails or pump tracks? Check out this awesome bike park located 3 miles from downtown. A bike shop with rentals, restaurant, brewery, and playground are centrally located on the property.

Love farmers markets? Check out the Market Square Farmers Market for artisanal goods, local foods, and music. It takes place every Saturday from 9am - 1pm at the downtown square.
