Sarah moves to Canada to live at Malibu Club, a Young Life camp to serve as a ropes intern for the summer

Alex says yes to summer staff at Malibu Club, volunteering on the ropes course for three weeks

a few days before Alex leaves, mutual feelings are shared, and the reality of the Canada to Idaho/Arizona distance becomes real

weeks go by, and Facetime calls become a daily thing as they learn more about each other

Sarah takes her first trip to Arizona to visit Alex, and they see each other outside of camp for the first time

Sarah and Alex continue to carve out time to Facetime each other while the distance becomes larger as Sarah moves back to Florida

the Ritchie's had a trip to Orlando planned prior to Sarah and Alex's meeting! this provided the perfect time for the two to meet each other's family! here's Alex moments before walking into Sarah's home!

Sarah road trips with her best friend, Rachel, to move across the country to be a year-long intern at Lost Canyon, a different Young Life Camp in Arizona!

the distance from Florida becomes much smaller, turning into a 2.5 hour drive between Sarah and Alex!

still, time is carved out for virtual dates!

Sarah joins Alex and his family on a trip to Kauai, Hawaii!!

it was a trip of a lifetime and affirmed & strengthened all feelings for each other!

the Lord calls Alex back to serve at camp for the summer, and Sarah and Alex spend the summer working together at Lost Canyon!

Sarah and Alex spent the summer setting up spaces and events for hundreds of kids to learn about Jesus for the first time!

it was the summer of our lives!! getting to live in the same place and seeing each other every day made it clear that we wanted to share every day together forever!

ALEX PROPOSES!!!!!!!!! after a busy summer of working for the Lord and falling more in love, Sarah and Alex traveled to Boise, Idaho where Alex proposed!!!
