Jared and Sarah’s story all started on Tinder, where they swiped right and Jared hit Sarah with a “well aren’t you quite the cutie ;)” message. There was something about him that caught her attention right away. Little did she know, that initial spark would turn into something way beyond a simple match. 

Jared and Sarah met during the peak of COVID, on one of those random weekends that restaurants were temporarily open. It was almost like fate – they had the chance to go out in person at a time when it felt impossible to make plans. The first date was so simple, but unforgettable. They met for a lunch date at The Flying Goat (needed to be a public place in broad daylight since he was a complete stranger and she didn’t want to get murdered) and once lunch was over neither of them were ready to part ways, so they didn’t. There was an easy flow between them, and they spent hours talking, laughing, and getting to know one another. By the end of the day, she was already certain about one thing. When she got home from their first date, Sarah texted her two best friends, “I’m going to marry him”. They probably thought she was jumping the gun, but she just knew. 

They’ve done so much growing up side by side. Through the ups and downs, he’s become her best friend, the person she turns to for everything. And now, here they are, looking ahead to the future they’ve always dreamed of. I guess when you find someone that you just *know* you’re meant to be with, you don’t need to wait around for any more signs. You’ve found home.
