We met because our last names start with the letter "M"!

Back in January 2020, both Mark and Sarah were leaders in different ministries at their college parish, Christ the King. One evening all of the ministry teams were gathered together for a leadership night, and everyone was seated in alphabetical order. As you can imagine, “Maier” and “McDowell” were placed quite close to one another, and the two hit it off instantaneously! At the end of the night, Mark asked for Sarah’s number, offering to tutor her in chemistry sometime. She accepted, and well, the rest is history!
