How do we RSVP?
There is an RSVP button on the home page as well as an RSVP tab! After you get to the RSVP page enter your name into the search bar and it should pop up! If there is a family with adult children, I entered those in separately so if your name is not showing up when your parents RSVP make sure you search for your name too! If there are any issues just text Sarah, we are able to change RSVP status on our end as well if things are not working properly!
What if we buy something off of your registry from somewhere else?
You can select the item from the registry and click the link at the bottom of the page that says, "Shopped somewhere else?". It will walk you through how to indicate you already bought it! If that is not working for you just let Sarah know and she can take it off for you!
What if we cannot make it?
You will be missed dearly! Please be sure to go to the RSVP section and indicate that you will not be able to attend so we can plan accordingly.
Can I bring a guest with me?
We are only able to accommodate for those that are listed on the online RSVP and indicated via the invitation. If you have a plus one or a guest spot it will be indicated when you RSVP!
Can we bring kids?
We want our special day to be an adult only event! As you RSVP, any young adults/children that are invited will be listed.
How early should we arrive to any of the events?
Ceremony: The ceremony starts promptly at 2pm, arrive 15/20 minutes early to find parking and your seats.
Reception: The reception starts at 4pm. The reception venue does not allow anyone to go in early. There is plenty of parking so they recommend waiting in your car or outside (if the weather is nice) until 4pm when the cocktail hour starts!
Will the wedding/reception be indoors or outdoors?
Both will be primarily indoors! At the reception there is a nice outside area with tables as long as the weather allows.
What do we wear to the ceremony?
Semi-formal/cocktail attire! We would love to see you dressed up for our big day! If you have any further questions or want recommendations feel free to reach out!
Please no jeans or dresses that are any shade of white!
Can we take pictures during the ceremony?
We will be having an unplugged ceremony so we ask that you keep phones away and silenced. The church will be recording the ceremony and can be shared with family and friends! We also have a photographer that will take pictures during the ceremony and we can share those with everyone as well. Once the ceremony is over you can take as many pictures and videos as you would like!
What to expect for the ceremony?
It will be a full Catholic wedding so it will take around an hour.
The priest does a great job at explaining what to do if you are unfamiliar with Catholic ceremonies/masses.
Posed pictures with family?
We will do family pictures in the church right after the ceremony so we ask for family to stick around to allow for that. We may get some pictures outside depending on weather and time. We must be off of the church grounds by 3:30pm
At the reception, we will have a photo background and time allotted for group pictures to be taken with the bride and groom!
What should we expect with the reception?
The reception will be at The Charles and will consist of a cocktail hour, dinner, and time for the bride and groom to mingle with family and friends. There will be music playing and some dancing as the night goes on as well! We will have opportunities to take pictures via the photographer/photo back drop.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! We are supplying a limited amount of a variety of beverages for guests to enjoy. Once that runs out, it will be a full cash bar for you to continue to enjoy throughout evening! Soft drinks are included and unlimited! The bar will close around 8:30pm, they will announce that as the time comes close.
