You're already married?!
You're gosh darn right we are. We eloped on February 23rd, 2024 at the San Diego Courthouse. Even though the legal stuff is all done with we're excited to give our personal vows to each other with our family and friends as witnesses.
Where should I stay?
We recommend staying in the Old Town area as it is near the trolley and has plenty to offer for food and drink.
We have reserved a hotel block at the Fairfield Inn & Suites San Diego Old Town from August 6th to August 11th. Check out our travel section for room block details.
Will transportation be provided to the Ceremony?
A bus will pick up guests from the Fairfield Inn & Suites San Diego Old Town at 5:45PM. Seats on the bus are only guaranteed for family members of the bride and groom.
I'm not taking the bus, how should I get to the Ceremony?
If using Public Transportation, take the Blue Line Trolley from the Old Town Station to the Balboa Avenue Station (three stops) and walk half a mile to the Rose Creek Cottage.
If not using public transportation, we would recommend Uber/Lyft to get to the Rose Creek Cottage. Please keep an eye on traffic as Garnet Avenue can get fairly congested on a weekday.
Is there parking at the Rose Creek Cottage/The Cordova?
Parking is limited at the Rose Creek Cottage. If you plan on driving to the Rose Creek Cottage please notify us in your RSVP. There is no parking at The Cordova, however street parking is available on Tecelote Road and Viola Street.
Will transportation be provided to The Cordova?
Yes, following our ceremony there will be a bus to transport guests to the reception.
Will food be provided at The Cordova?
The Cordova will be providing passed appetizers and assorted breakfast foods during our reception. We will also be offering desserts later in the evening. We recommend eating a meal before joining us for the ceremony.
How About Drinks?
Cocktails, mocktails and beer will be provided until midnight.
Where Should I Eat Before the Ceremony?
Old Town offers many options for Mexican food in the area; we recommend Old Town Café, Café Coyote, and Casa de Reyes. If you're not staying in old town, reach out to either of us and we'll give you a recommendation!
Do I need to rent a car?
We recommend taking an Uber/Lyft to the Ceremony as parking at both the Rose Creek Cottage and the Cordova are limited. If you're planning to arrive in San Diego before or stay after our wedding day, we would recommend getting a rental car for sightseeing outside what is accessible by the trolley.
