Whatever makes you happy! We just want to spend the day with those closest to us, so please come in attire that you feel comfortable in! The only thing we do ask is to refrain from the color white, we want to reserve that color for the bride please!

During the ceremony itself, we will be having an unplugged ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture all of our special moments so you can sit back and enjoy the ceremony! But, at the reception feel free to snap away! There will be QR codes on the tables that we would ask you to scan and take all the pictures you want! These will be shared directly with the bride and groom after the reception so they can witness all the amazing moments over again!

There will be a bar, but you will have to pay for your own drinks! The bar is cash and Venmo only so plan accordingly!

No you cannot. Everything alcohol wise must come from the YEC bar because of the liquor license they uphold. The YEC has a large arrangement of liquor, beer, seltzers, and pop for everyone to enjoy and find something that they can drink while celebrating the big day with the bride and groom.

Yes there is! Our hotel block is at the Sleep Inn and Suites in Charles City. To find our hotel block, it is under the 'Travel' section on our wedding website! We do not currently have a wedding block at the Super 8 (which is right across the street from the Sleep Inn), but it is also an option as a hotel! If you are planning to utilize a room block, the block closes April 20th, so make sure you have your room booked before the cut off date!
