Anakeesta is an attraction located at the top of a mountain. There are lots of things to do at the top of the mountain. There are cute little shops, places to eat and a lighted swinging bridge that is beautiful at night. There are two ways to get to the top of the mountain. You can get there by ski lift or by the Anakeesta bus.
This is a swinging sky bridge that overlooks downtown Gatlinburg. It offers beautiful views of downtown and the mountains It does have a large area in the middle that is glass. The only way to the top of the mountain is by sky lift.

This is a wonderful area to drive through. There are shops along the side of the road that you can stop and shop at. Most places are open during the week and on the weekends. Some of the stores have weird hours as they are locally owned.
This is one of Sarahs favorite stores to stop in when she is in town. Please check Facebook for her hours or if she is closed for any reason. She is a local volunteer fire fighter and occasionally has to close for calls.

This is one of our favorite arcades in downtown Gatlinburg. It is also a good place to get warm and hang out if needed. They also have a bathroom that you can use as there are not a ton of bathrooms on the strip.
