Q + A

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by March 27th, 2025. This will allow us to give our vendors an accurate guest count when guest counts are due. All RSVPs after the deadline will be marked as "not attending". Thank you for your understanding!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Your formal invitation and RSVP link will have all names and details of who is invited in your party. We kindly ask that you follow your invitation details.

Can I bring kids to the wedding?

To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request children stay at home.

What should I wear?

We ask that our guests dress in cocktail attire. For the gentlemen, we would love to see you in a suit and tie. For the ladies, we suggest floor length to midi dresses or dressy separates. We are excited to take classy wedding photos with our guests and request no sweatpants, jeans, sandals, or sneakers be worn to our wedding.

What time should we arrive?

Our ceremony will begin at 3:15 pm so we kindly ask that our guests arrive anytime between 2:45-3 pm.

Where should I park?

When you enter the venue, you will turn left immediately and drive up a large hill. At the top of the hill, you will find free parking. If you see Ryan holding a sign for donations, please do not encourage him.

Can I take pictures/video during the ceremony?

There will be a moment provided to take pictures of the bride and groom just prior to starting the ceremony. We will then plan to continue the ceremony in an "unplugged" fashion and ask that personal cell phones and cameras be powered off. Our wonderful photographer will do the remainder of the work when it comes to photos of the ceremony!

What happens between the ceremony and reception?

We plan to have a cocktail hour for the guests to enjoy drinks and each other's company between the ceremony and the reception.

Where is the ceremony in location to cocktail hour and the reception space?

The ceremony is located approximately 100 yards from the barn where we will be holding our cocktail hour and reception.

What time will the reception end?

We understand that some of our guests may want to return to work on Monday morning after our wedding. Moreover, if you know the bride, you understand she is looking forward to getting to bed at a reasonable time. For these reasons, our reception will end at 9 pm.

I will be flying for the wedding. Which airport should I fly into?

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is the closest major airport to Wooster. From Cleveland, the drive to Wooster will be a little bit over an hour long.

Where can I stay while in town for the wedding?

Wooster is located in the heart of Ohio Amish country while also being one of the fastest growing cities in the state of Ohio. There are many hotel options in town such as the Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Comfort Inn, and many more! We have a block of rooms located at the Holiday Inn. More information about the block of rooms we have reserved can be found in the travel section of this website.

Where are we registered?

We have registered on Amazon and Ikea. You may access our registry on our wedding website as well as give towards a fund we have created for our honeymoon. Please know that gifts are appreciated, but not expected.

We have questions that have not been addressed here. Who should we contact?

We apologize for not having an answer to all of your questions! You may contact Rachel Osborn with any additional questions at rachelcosborn@gmail.com. Please be patient as it might take her some time to respond.
