CJ and Sarah’s story began in early 2015 while they were both working at Lowe’s in Canandaigua NY. Sarah worked as a cashier in the garden department and CJ was a floor associate. These two originally started out as friends; however things quickly changed once CJ and Sarah exchanged numbers and began to text and hangout with one another regularly outside of work. They bonded over movies, music, as well as many other things; but most importantly AIDEN!! As time progressed, the relationship between CJ and Sarah blossomed into something more. Finally, on June 15th 2015 Sarah surprised him with a kiss that made them more than just friends! In July of 2015 their relationship was put to the test for a short time, when Sarah and CJ became separated by almost 2,000 miles. They both had known before this time that they had found their soulmates and kept in touch by sending letters to one another and talking on the phone as often as they could. They both could not wait to be reunited (As they say; Distance makes the heart grow fonder!) and the night CJ picked Sarah up at the airport he proposed, and she of course said YES!! Although they were so young, they knew they belonged together. Once Sarah moved in with CJ and Aiden, they became an inseparable little family. The couple had dreams of planning a big wedding ceremony but because of being a small young family, other things took priority and they decided to elope at the the courthouse on April 7th, 2016 with Aiden, and AJ present. CJ and Sarah’s family grew bigger over the years with the addition of Mason who was born in October of 2018 and Emma-Jane who rounded out their family in October of 2020. Now they are a family of five who support each other through every adventure and challenge that life throws at them! #CheerstoTenYears🥂
